Randomnessss

     So today in school, we had 3 substitutes in our classes (some of the teachers had an all-day meeting to go to). One wouldn't let anyone talk, one wouldn't stop talking and telling stories, and one made sour lemon faces when he picked up our math tests. This leads me to the life question- are there any normal substitutes? Ones that don't look or act strange? That are more like the regular teacher that they're subbing for? And THEN there are the substitutes who text for the whole period and don't really care what anyone does (yup, I had one once, they're my favorites!)

Sinful Colors Nail Polish (review)

Hey everyone! So, in this post I wanted to do a review on a brand of affordable nail polishes- Sinful Colors.  These polishes can be purchased at Walgreens. One thing about this brand that I notice to be strikingly different than other drugstore nail polish companies, is the extremely wide selection of colors! Definately the best selection of all drugstore nail polish brands. All polishes are $1.99 each, and are .5 fl oz. Let's go see the colors I have!!-

(Left to Right- Sugar Sugar, San Francisco, Mint Apple, Out of this World, Bali Mist)



Sugar Sugar

I ADORE this shade! It's my 2nd favorite of the 5 that I own. This color is SO pigmented, I did one coat, and I def. didn't need more!! Reccomend- Yes.

San Francisco

Looks can decieve you. I wanted soooo badly to like this color. See, I bought Sugar Sugar and San Francisco together to do a Christmas nail look. I was expecting the color to come off on my nails just like it looked in the bottle, since the Sugar Sugar one was so well pigmented. However, it came of super-sheer, and much more of a forest green instead of the emerald green I was expecting. It's not that I hate the color, it just isn't as pretty as it is in the bottle. Reccomend? Maybe, if you're like obsessed with greens or something.

Mint Apple

GORGEOUS.

I adore this shade, the pigmentation is really good. When I looked at the bottle the 1st time, I was weary of this shade. After owning about 3 bluey green nail polish shades that come off very very sheer, I was a bit afraid of making the same mistake. I was suprisingly shocked when I swatched this color and is was greatly pigmented and opaque. Reccomend? Yes.

Out of this World

Very pretty shade. A beautiful silver with multi colored shimmers. Again very pigmented, two coats left an opaque look. Reccomend? Yes.

Bali Mist

Well, this isn't really a bad color, it just wasn't unique. At all. In the bottle, I see steaks of pink, gold, even green! But, once on the nails, all that shows up is a sheer pink. Yes, the color is pretty, but, if you already have many pink in your collection, this may not be for you. Reccomend? Yes.

Overall, this is an amazing brand. A wide variety, only $1.99 a bottle, great pigmentation/colors. Reccomend? oh yes:)

1st Blog? Oh Yes!

Well hello Blog-o-sphere! 
                     I suppose I will tell you a bit about myself! My name is Emily, and I am in middle school. Let me start off by saying I'm am NOT an experienced blogger...basically, it looked fun, and I tend to enjoy trying new things:) It's quite surprising however...since I am absolutely ADDICTED to the internet...it's a serious issue. Hello, my name is Emily, and I am a webaholic. Another thing you should know about me, is that I tend to slowly travel off-subject, while my original topic seems to be lost somewhere in the abyss...in other words- I guess you could say I have ADHD (but i don't really), or you could just say I'm "abnomally hyper"...ya i'll go with the latter. ^_^
                  Now let's see, where was I?...(see what I mean?!) oh yeah! Telling you about moi. Ok, well we established I adore my computer...what else. hmmm. oh! Ok, so another thing I'm kind of obsessed with is makeup. I've been doing my own for about a year now, and I hope to become a makeup artist later in life. If that doesn't work out, I'd love to become a photographer or librarian! A few other tidbits of EMformation (hehe just came up with that! Pretty good huh??), I'm around my friends a lot, the only thing I've gotten in trouble at school for- EVER, is acting stupid with my friends... In my group of about 6 or 7 close friends, I'm definetly the craziest (trust me, it's not always a good thing. ;). I LOVE ANIMALS, I melt at really young puppies and kittens :P. I'm a pretty nice person; I try to be nice to everyone, not just my friends. And finally, I heart my iPhone, im probably on it about 5-6 hours total out of the day:/ haha.
